The GLM Shimming Tool No. 90330 makes rebuilding
a lower gearcase so simple anyone can do it!

For use with OMC Stringer When rebuilding a Johnson / Evinrude outboard gearcase,
and Cobra V6 Outboards the correct pinion gear height must be adjusted with shims of
with “O” Type or “M” Type varying thickness. The amount of shims needed is determined
with a shim tool.

The drive shaft assembly and pinion gear are installed into the
